Care Assistant (Nights) – Evermore Care Homes

Location:

Astley View, Chorley

Pay: £13.45 per hour + overtime at £14.95 per hour, equivalent to £26,926 per year

Hours:

Full-time, 38.5 hours per week, 8pm – 8am shifts on a two‑week rolling rota:

• Week 1:
  Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2:
  Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Evermore Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant (Nights) to join the team at Astley View, a state‑of‑the‑art luxury care home in Chorley. You will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment.

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care

• Previous experience within adult social care (personal or work‑based)
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality
