Management Accountant (PQ) | £40,000 - £45,000 + Study + Bonus | Chorley | Excellent mentorship and training | Exciting high-growth business
Axon Moore are pleased to be working alongside a highly-valued, industry-leading client as they look to recruit a Part Qualified/Finalist Management Accountant to their dynamic team. This fantastic opportunity will be responsible for producing the management accounts, plus overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Producing the management accounts
- Submit VAT payments in accordance with legislation
- Bank reconciliations
- Company card reconciliations
- Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Submit the monthly PAYE payments in accordance with HMRC legislation
Supervise and manage two accounts assistants and ensure the collection of debt in a timely manner - Assist the Financial Controller with the audit process
- Review and assist with the improvement of business processes and practices
- At least 2 years' experience within a similar role
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified
- Able to develop and maintain good internal and external working relationships
- Able to efficiently manage a high-volume workload
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and organised
- Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
