Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a PE-backed business in Chorley experiencing rapid growth to recruit an up-and-coming Assistant Management Accountant actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA or AAT.

This varied and progressive role requires a driven individual who is able to manage and prioritise workload effectively whilst being hungry for success. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• P&L reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
• Intercompany accounting, i.e. group recharges
• Review of sales income reconciliation and posting monthly journals
• Payroll support
• Year-end and audit support
• Ad-hoc duties

• Actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA or AAT
• At least 1 years' experience within a finance/accounts role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational and time-keeping skills
• High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
• Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices
• Good IT and MS Excel skills
