Location:

Hybrid - 1 or 2 days in the Chorley office per week

Salary: 50K plus bonus and excellent benefits

Our client is a fast-growing, nationwide group with offices across the UK with a turnover exceeding £70m, this is a highly reputable, well-backed organisation with ambitious growth plans following recent private equity investment.

We're seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join the finance team at the company's head office in Chorley. Reporting into Head of Financial Accounting, this role is

• Preparing M&A budgets, completion accounts, earnout calculations and post-acquisition reporting
• Supporting month-end and M&A reporting for senior leadership
• Producing monthly Board Packs
• Preparing monthly and quarterly covenant reporting
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing FRS 102 statutory accounts using Case Ware
• Assisting with audits, tax queries and FCA returns
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Working closely with Management Accounts and Data teams
• Supporting a range of ad-hoc financial projects as required

• Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in audit or financial services
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving environment
