Description
As the Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
Maintain and improve quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001.
Conduct thorough investigations, supporting customer, production and supplier quality performance.
Collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements, utilising continuous improvement methodologies such as; SMED, LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
Analyse data and prepare reports/documentation on quality performance and trends, in order to perform root cause analysis (8D, 5why).
Liaise with external customers to reduce NCR's and develop internal quality processes.
Support the Quality Manager with both internal and external audits.
Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and procedures.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to address quality-related concerns.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all quality processes.
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
Experience of working within industries such as; aerospace, automotive, precision components, machining.
Experience of managing QMS in accordance to ISO 9001 & 14001.
Internal/External auditor certification is desirable
Qualification within engineering.
Job Offer
