EYFS Teaching Assistant – Chorley area – from £89 per day – Full‑time and Part‑time positions.

Axcis is an education agency that is currently looking to recruit early years teaching assistants to provide varying levels of support to schools within the Chorley area.

As an education agency specialising in SEND provision within schools, we are always looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistants who have experience in early years or nursery settings and have a passion to work with children who have additional needs.

A nursery school in the Chorley area will use our candidates to support children in a range of settings and with a variety of special educational needs. This is a mainstream setting and due to the age of the children, will involve a level of personal care.

You will be providing whole class, group and 1‑1 support to children who may have varying needs and may include a degree of personal care such as nappy changing and feeding. You will be working alongside other school professionals, including the class teachers and SENCOs, to ensure that the children you are supporting can access the curriculum as well as having their wider needs met.

• Experience working with nursery or EYFS children.
• A calm, and consistent approach to managing challenging behaviour.
• Flexibility to work during school hours 8:30am‑4pm.
• Ability to reliably commute by driving within Chorley and surrounding areas.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
