H&S Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join our small but expanding team. The Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance and assisting a varied number of clients in the construction industry. The role will be Hybrid with office/home and site attendance required. Works are NW based but with occasional travel required.

• Providing advice and helping clients fulfil their CDM duties
• Preparing and submitting F10s
• Assessment and preparation of construction phase health and safety plans
• Site health and safety inspections
• Assisting Principal Contractors and Contractors in H&S compliance
• Manage workload as account manager to own clients
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessment
• RAMS writing for construction activities
• CPP and RAMS reviews

• Minimum 2 years in construction and/or construction H&S role previously
• Experience in Civils and/or cladding remediation advantageous
• NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate or higher are desirable
• CMaPS and/or CMIOSH qualifications (or working towards) desirable but not essential
• NEBOSH certificate and/or higher along with excellent communication skills and a determination to succeed
• A full driving licence and own transport is essential as some travel will be required
• IOSH membership (required)

• Design risk management skills
• Problem solving and ability to work on own initiative
• Experience working with Principal Contractors and site teams

• Diploma of Higher Education
• NEBOSH
