Job Scope
An ICT/Enrichment Training (Programme) Trainer will plan and execute, working closely with the HOD/ICT to draw up ICT related programmes for students and staff.
ICT programmes tailored according to the Authority’s objectives and curriculum.Plan and execute comprehensive ICT programme packages to meet ICT needs for all students.Deliver any other ICT-related training for students and staff, including the usage of software or hardware.Manage the Authority’s ICT systems, including school website and social media presence.Support the Authority in all ICT related projects such as photography, videography, video-editing, etc.Provide assistance in development and research of ICT solutions.Ensure students’ attendance and well-being when training is scheduled.Training for Students
Basic operations of the computer, including logging in and changing of passwords.Digital literacy skills such as touch typing, usage of Microsoft Office tools.Coding and computational thinking such as Micro:bit, Scratch, drone programming and Arduino.Awareness Programmes for Staff
Use of various Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Powerpoint Live, etc.Photo and/or video editing.Useful internet resources for Teaching and Learning.Closely assist and work with teachers to improve their ICT skills.Other Tasks/Duties
Proactively scan the market for technology trends and new technology tools that support Teaching and Learning.Provide professional inputs and make recommendations to HOD ICT and ICT Manager.Support the Authority’s ICT Manager in administrative matters and data generation if required.Ensure that MOE policies, guidelines and standards are adhered to.Maintain the Authority’s computer labs to ensure that the lab is functional, neat and orderly.Work on Authority’s ICT and carry out ICT related duties.In charge of the Authority’s iPad carts, accessories, programme and any other digital devices, under the supervision of the ICT Manager.Any other duties and/or tasks assigned by the Authority.Requirements
Candidate with diploma or above in the relevant discipline is preferred; those without a diploma certificate, but with relevant experience and expertise may also apply.Candidate preferably to have knowledge in coding (Matatalab and Micro:bit).Candidate must have knowledge in coding (Scratch).Candidate must be able to handle photography (Digital SLR) and photo editing software (example Photoshop).Candidate must have videography and video editing skills.It is an added advantage for candidate to have knowledge and/or experience in:Preferably at least 1 year working experience in a local school environment.Working Hours
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break. Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break.
* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
Contract Period
1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 (Option to extend from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028).
