Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager Enstone
Up to £410 per day (Inside IR35)
Monday to Friday (Days)

This is a hands-on Engineering Manager role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front. While you ll be responsible for managing a small team of engineers, you ll also be expected to remain technically involved supporting breakdowns, overseeing maintenance activity, and getting on the tools when required.

Key points:

• Lead a team of engineers
• Oversee maintenance, reliability, and statutory inspections
• Very hands-on role not office based
• Day-to-day decision-making on site, providing technical guidance, and stepping in to support complex or urgent engineering issues.
• Motivating & engaging the team

Requirements:

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background
• CI & Lean Engineering Experience
• H&S Knowledge
• Responsible for maintenance, reliability, and statutory compliance
• Proven experience managing engineers in manufacturing / FMCG / heavy industry
• Strong H&S and compliance knowledge
• NVQ (or equivalent) in Engineering; leadership qualification desirable
