Role Overview & Responsibilities

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for a new team member to prepare products and materials for shipment and/ or warehousing.

• Prepares orders for shipping, which includes, but is not limited to, pulls and labels product, obtains weights, wraps, and bands consolidated product as required by the specific transportation method
• Obtains freight quotes based on the dimensions of products
• Labels all inbound and outbound products
• Verifies and maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Records shipment weights on new Stock-Keeping Unit (SKU’s)
• Determines the shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
• Communicates effectively with internal customers as well as carriers in regards to the movement of products
• Confers with carrier on a daily basis to schedule pickups
• Examines and inspects all incoming product to ensure quantity and quality
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months to one year of related work experience
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience

• PTO: 3 weeks per year
