Electronic Assembly Technician

Job Description

REX SYSTEMS INCORPORATED (RSI), an established high‑reliability ISO 9001:2015 certified electronics manufacturer, is seeking a full‑time Electronic Assembly Technician.

Assembly of electronic and mechanical parts, wiring of electronic components, assembly of basic and intricate electro‑mechanical parts, printed wiring boards, repairs and complex wiring. Utilizes production documents (assembly instructions, assembly drawings, parts lists, etc.), production forms and production tools. Prepares material by studying assembly instructions, parts lists and gathering tools. Solder and inspect solder connections to IPC industry standards. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follows safety regulations.

Completes production and quality documentation as required. Works independently in a team‑oriented environment with a positive attitude to achieve goals. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

High‑school diploma or GED. Detail orientation, manual dexterity to assemble products as directed, excellent hand‑eye coordination, ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, ability to utilize respirators and other PPE as required. On‑the‑job training provided. Preferred but not required: IPC J‑STD‑001 certification, solder experience, prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.

Full‑time hourly position, Monday‑Friday 7:30 AM‑4:00 PM, qualifying for full‑time benefits.
