We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This qualified candidate will provide administrative support throughout the organization.
Duties and responsibilities include those listed below and any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Strong computer skills - MS Office experience a plus (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
- SQL writing a plus
- Basic lumber experience & knowledge a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively within internal teams and external customers/vendors
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Review daily online ACH deposits & apply payments to customer accounts
- Daily bank deposit of customer check payments
- Daily application of payments to customer’s accounts
- Daily invoicing of customer orders as product is shipped
- Corporate credit card reconciliation (Last week of each month)
- Wisconsin Sales Tax reporting
- Minnesota Sales Tax reporting
- Illinois Sales Tax reporting
- Daily filing (accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer invoicing, trucking invoices, etc.)
- Inventory control of apparel & promotional items
- Inventory control & shipment of product samples
- Inventory control & purchasing of office/production plant supplies
- Annual fiscal year-end record retention project (November)
- Scheduling & facilitation of outsourced housekeeping items (carpet cleaning, window washing, etc.)
- Assist with set up & organization of quarterly employee meetings
- Assist with organization & facilitation of physical inventory (quarterly/bi-annually)
- Support of event planning needs (summer event, Christmas party, etc.)
- Schedule document shredding & preparation of documents to be shredded
- Backup for sales order entry
- Process credit applications for new customers
- Manual invoices
- Vendor invoice reconciliation
- Printing of production worksheets (as necessary)
- Clerical support for Lean Manufacturing Program leads
- Employee poster compliance updates (annually)
- Assist with coordination & facilitation of annual safety workshop
- Assist with clerical needs for new hire orientation/onboarding
- Competitive salary: $40,000 - $60,000 earning potential in your first year
- 1st shift (6:30 am – 3:00 pm or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
- Potential for overtime during peak season and during 90-day probationary period
