English, Maths and Science Tutor Opportunity - 1:1, Chippenham
Pay: £27 to £30 per hour
Contract:
Temporary, Part‑time (15 hours per week)
Location:
Within the community or pupils' home
Duration:
Ongoing until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
Closing Date: 06/02/2026
Responsibilities- Deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition packages in English, Maths and Science to secondary‑aged learners who are currently without a school placement.
- Create, plan and deliver tailored lessons that bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 and boost engagement and attainment.
- Work flexibly within the community or pupils’ home, accommodating convenient timings for families.
- QTS or equivalent, with UK classroom teaching experience.
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside the box.
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to process a new application.
- Provide two professional child‑related references.
