QC Raw Materials Sampler

Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr doe

Location: Pomona, CA

Job type: Contract – hire

Raw Material Sampler supporting material control and quality-related activities by collecting and handling samples of incoming materials used in manufacturing. Ensures material suitability by following procedures and maintaining accurate records. Works with warehouse, quality, and operations.

• Collect samples from incoming raw materials and packaging components according to established procedures.
• Label, handle, and transport samples to designated areas for review or testing.
• Perform basic inspections for visible damage, contamination, or inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of sampling and material handling.
• Clean and organize sampling tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and gowning requirements.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate sampling activities and material availability.
• Assist with organization and storage of samples, including retained materials.
• Report issues, irregularities, or concerns to supervisor or lead.
• Support audits, reviews, or inspections by ensuring orderly work area and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma with 2+ years experience working with raw materials.
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and basic documentation skills.
• Ability to work in controlled, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently.
