Maintenance Tech II

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician II in our Chino, CA Meat Warehouse. The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs of machinery in the Meat department for In-N-Out Burger. Currently we have openings on first shift with a starting pay range of $35.20/HR-$40.50/HR DOE.

• Perform daily inspections, preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance of production equipment.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer specs, work order instructions, and warranty agreements.
• Perform maintenance activities in a reliable and cost-effective manner in compliance with safety, quality, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
• Perform mechanical setup, fine tune settings, and troubleshoot VFFS (Vertical form, fill, and seal) equipment.
• Maintain and repair water heaters and CIP equipment.
• Document work orders and preventative maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O and field devices (Prox sensors, photo eyes, thermocouples).
• Troubleshoot AC/DC high and low voltage circuits (3 Phase 480/230V and 24V).
• Troubleshoot servo drives, VFD’s, and AC motors.
• Maintain and repair diaphragm/PD/centrifugal pumps, food processing piping, metal detectors, process tanks, and conveyors.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand occupational hazards and utilize standard safety practices.
• Ability to initiate projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to complete all assigned work including preventative maintenance and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform off-shift critical work and emergency repairs when needed.
• Participate in the selection of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary to support the maintenance operations; help determine inventory levels and quantities of spare parts required.
• Full-time position, hourly (non-exempt)
• Pay Range: $35.20 to $40.50/hourly DOE

• Some overtime as needed
• 5 days per week:
  Monday
  - Thursday (7AM-2:30PM);
  Sunday (12PM-8:30PM)
• Days off:
  Friday and Saturday
• Weekend and holiday availability required

• Perform job duties with a heightened level of detail
• Proficiency in using an MMS system
• Experience with in a liquid processing environment, including a solid foundation of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical/Electronic, Welding & Fabrication a plus
• Basic knowledge of PLC/plant automation a plus
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Ability to initiate projects in minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Cold working conditions - Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in temperatures as low as 34°F; temperature fluctuations in the warehouse
• Ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the meat production room
