Responsibilities
- Coordinates activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems encountered in assigned area of the manufacturing facility.
- Reviews production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to maintain current knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
- Maintains records or oversees recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented.
- Consults with design engineers to obtain specialized information.
- Learn and work with Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing processes to increase the BOM accuracy and improvement.
- Understanding impact of engineering actions to manufacturing departments down-stream.
- Control the programming of new drawings/parts and manage the Engineering revisions tracking log.
- Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) and design processes.
- Basic knowledge of ERP System - BAAN.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Communication skills, oral & written.
- Must join a union.
- High or GED preferred.
The hourly range of $ $ is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, location and union designation. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
