Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Assists in designing, developing, and implementing test fixtures. Analyzes performance data for refrigerated and hot products manufactured forms simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques. Assist senior engineering team members data analysis and publishing reports. Contributor to engineering goals for product accuracy and improvement. Support cross‑functional department deliverables for design improvements and alternative materials.

Support engineering projects with responsibility for identifying engineering tasks assigned. Works with engineering lead and other departments within Hussmann.

Responsible coordination of 1 to 2 Laboratory engineering projects.

Basic understanding of the needs and impact of other functions on the business. Interaction with immediate and cross‑functional teams within Hussmann.

Provides input and directions to cross‑functional departments to meet product specifications and compliance expectations. Able to give direction on solutions for known customer issues.

Identify and eliminate opportunities for manufacturing errors using a standard process.

Basic understanding of engineering BOM and design processes.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline with 0 - 2 Years of Equivalent Engineering Experience.

Able to write formal documents and is proficient in communicating using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel. Communicates well with Engineers and other department personnel.

BSME or equivalent with an emphasis on Thermal Dynamics or Heat transfer. Experience with Refrigeration systems or Laboratory Data Acquisition systems preferred, but not mandatory.
