Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

Our client, a fast-growing food & beverage company in the Inland Empire, is hiring a hands-on Controller to run day-to-day accounting and strengthen financial operations as the business scales.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month end close, prepare accurate financial statements, and deliver timely management reporting.

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and SOX-ready processes as needed.

• Manage AR/AP, payroll oversight, inventory accounting, cost accounting and intercompany reconciliations.

• Partner with operations and leadership to analyze P&L drivers and support strategic decision-making.

• Supervise and mentor a small accounting team; hire and develop talent as the department grows.

• Work with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and filings.

Requirements:

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP, month end close, reconciliations).

• Food & beverage or industry experience.

Plusses:

• CPA license

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
