Your ImpactAre you a skilled and highly motivated Generator Technician ready to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, challenging environment? Pearce offers a career where you will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers, driving independent work and travel.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, install and replace components or entire systems, and perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season equipment
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness, reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, and test for correct operation
- Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; have the ability to be on call 24/7 if necessary and respond promptly to assigned phone and email
- Perform work with awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switching gear, and other equipment, using safety equipment and practices; attend all designated safety and training meetings
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience- Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance preferred; a minimum of one year of intense work‑related experience with generator and electrical maintenance‑related software, hardware, and processes
- Thorough of generator installations, maintenance, and repair; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills
- Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
Physical Requirements
- This position requires lifting over 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods
- Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly
- Must be willing and able to drive long distances, work day, evening, or night hours; overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays as required; must assume 24‑hour on‑call duty when assigned and be away from home for extended periods
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Base Pay Range: $30,000 – $40,000 USD per year.
