LPN - ICU

Day shift offering 5x8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:00, with rotating weekends and holidays required.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will assist healthcare providers in an urgent care setting, supporting both pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include taking vitals, rooming patients, administering medications, and performing wound care. The LVN will also be involved in patient education, pre-employment physical exams, and assisting with minor procedures.

• Assist healthcare providers and Registered Nurses
• Perform patient assessments and record medical histories
• Administer medications via PO, IM, and SQ routes
• Provide wound care and perform splinting as needed
• Conduct pre-employment physical exams
• Prepare patients for minor procedures and assist during procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and treatment

• 6 months to 1 year of urgent care experience required
• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• IV certification and knowledge of splinting
• Familiarity with electronic EMR systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
