Hands On Class 1 Driver

Kal Tire is hiring a Class 1 Driver based in Chilliwack, BC to deliver tires and automotive accessories across British Columbia, including Vancouver Island. Full‑time with benefits, it’s not just about the miles – it's about the journey. • Pre/Post trip inspections:
  Hook up and pull up to a 2‑trailer combo.
• Maintain an Electric Logging Device (ELD):
  In compliance with hours of service and reporting any damages on equipment.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship:
  Interacting with Team Members at Kal Tire locations while delivering, loading, and unloading tires.
• Delivering across British Columbia including Vancouver Island:
  Some overnight shifts required depending on route.
• Consistently bending, lifting, and moving tires.

• Valid Driver's License:
  Hold a clean and valid Class 1 license.
• Shift rotations:
  Some Sunday starts with rotating weeks on/off.
• Commitment to Safety:
  Prioritize safety and contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
• Physical Capability:
  Ability to lift and maneuver tires.
• Previous experience driving long distance.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Prior Chain‑up experience.

• Full‑time position.
• This position starts at $35.92 /hour and may include a 40–70‑hour work week based on federally regulated hours.
