General Labour

Location: Hope

We are seeking General Labour staff with experience in a Construction Environment to join our client's team on project in Hope, BC.
What We Offer:

Duration:
March to August (3-4 month project)/ 20-30 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am start time

Rate: $21.00 + vacation pay = $21.84 per hour

What You'll Do:

Prepare and clean up construction sites

Carpentry assistance

Load/unload supplies, equipment, and construction materials

Additional duties as assigned

Must have the ability to do heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and crouching

Work using hand and power tools

Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions

Keep the work area clean and organized, minimizing hazards and optimizing productivity

Concrete removal and substrate preparation

Installation and removal of simple formwork

What We're Looking For:

Previous Carpentry/Concrete Experience an asset

Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work.

be reliable and capable of working with other workers on the crew

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, joinery, and construction processes

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols

Steel toe boots, Hardhat and vest required
