• Perform tasks involving physical labor and operate hand and power tools, wrenching, and tightening bolts.
• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components, examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform general tasks required in a manufacturing environment.
• Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.

• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving with supervisors and team members.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure and a ladder.
• Ability to use a torque wrench, impact driver, and grinder.
• Mechanical inclination.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a heavy industrial setting or previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with power tools.
• Experience using overhead cranes.
