Overview
Top Notch Roofing is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale our Sales department. This role owns revenue performance, team development, CRM discipline, and predictable execution—while protecting margins and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on structure, accountability, coaching, and results

Revenue & Profitability Leadership
- Deliver $8.5M+ in annual revenue sold
- Protect pricing discipline and gross profit targets (45% GP)
- Monitor SR%, AJS, close rates, and margins
- Align sales activity targets with lead availability and capacity
Client & Brand Experience
- Ensure fast, professional lead response
- Oversee proposal quality and expectation-setting
- Maintain consistent communication through production and closeout
- Partner with Production to prevent handoff breakdowns
- Drive post-sale follow-up, reviews, and issue resolution
Process, CRM & Systems Discipline
- Enforce the Top Notch Selling System and sales playbook
- Maintain CRM accuracy at 95-100%
- Ensure proposal turnaround times of 24 hours
- Uphold canvassing, self-gen, and SOP standards
Team Leadership, Coaching & Development
- Lead daily and weekly coaching rhythms (1:1s, GSRs, ride-alongs)
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Sales Consultants
- Own 0-90 day onboarding and ramp plans
- Hold team members accountable to KPIs and core values
Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Build and deliver the annual sales plan and budget
- Maintain accurate weekly forecasts and EOS scorecards
- Track GP%, commissions, and compensation performance
- Provide leadership with clear, consistent pipeline visibility
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience (construction or home services preferred)
- Proven ability to scale teams and hit aggressive revenue targets
- Strong CRM discipline (Job Nimbus experience a plus)
- Coaching-driven leader with high accountability standards
- Financial and margin awareness
- Clear communicator who escalates risks early
- EOS or structured operating system experience preferred
- $110,000 base salary
- $60,000-$90,000 variable compensation tied to performance
- Leadership autonomy with real ownership
- Strong operational support and clear systems
