At Westeck Windows & Doors, our people are the foundation of our success. We’re looking for a Senior HR Advisor who thrives in a hands-on, visible role — someone who can partner with leaders, support employees, and help drive a high-performing, values-based workplace.

Based in our Chilliwack Head Office and reporting to the VP of HR & Safety of our parent company, this role supports the division while working closely with the broader HR team within our parent company to ensure aligned, consistent, and compliant HR practices across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Talent Attraction & Recruitment

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across all departments
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and hiring decisions
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience from posting to onboarding
  • Talent Management & Workforce Planning

  • Align workforce plans with operational goals
  • Support performance management, engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Analyze HR metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate modified duties programs in partnership with Health & Safety
  • Advisor to Leadership

  • Provide guidance on BC employment legislation and applicable U.S. requirements
  • Advise on respectful workplace, accommodation, privacy, and policy compliance
  • Support compensation processes, wage reviews, and benefits administration
  • Partner with corporate HR to ensure consistency in practices and standards
  • Employee Relations

  • Support resolution of workplace concerns
  • Coach leaders through employee matters with professionalism and fairness
  • Maintain confidentiality and promote open, respectful communication
  • What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in British Columbia
  • Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation
  • Experience supporting U.S. operations with working knowledge of applicable U.S. employment laws and regulatory requirements, is considered an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred (or equivalent certificate/diploma and experience)
  • CPHR designation (or working toward) is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust at all levels
  • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG is an asset)

    Starting salary: $80-$90,000 annual

    This role is primarily on-site with opportunity to be remote on occasion.
