$36.60 per hour (32–40 hours per week)

Permanent, full-time shift starting ASAP – 2 vacancies

Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Support record keeping, engage children in activities, prepare snacks, arrange rooms, submit observations, and participate in staff meetings.

• Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Assist educators or supervisors in keeping records.
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate (required).
• Experience working with children (asset).

• Canadian citizen.
• Permanent resident of Canada.
• Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit.
