Overview
We are currently looking for the right Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team. The position offers hourly pay plus potential commission and bonuses based on store performance.

CompensationPay: $13.00 to $17.00 per hour. Earned commission on transactions and potential bonuses based on store performance. The exact pay may vary by location and experience.

- Sick/Personal time: 8 hours after 6 months; 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2-5); 24 hours after five years (adjusted as required).

The Assistant Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations, promoting a positive environment, developing staff, recruiting, maximizing financial goals, and maintaining customer relations. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead the team and ensure a customer-centric environment.
Analyses store financial statements to meet financial goals; supports asset protection; promotes the business and targets new customer acquisitions. Work may involve a variety of merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Pay includes hourly wage plus commissions based on productivity and store performance; the actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Assist in training staff to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open/close the store, count cash and merchandise, and ensure asset protection procedures are followed.
- Manage inventory, loan processes, merchandising, and store systems; prepare enterprise-level reports.
- Monitor and analyze financial statements and drive profitability through goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet First Cash standards; monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
- Complete assigned tasks and training; communicate store goals and mission to employees.
- Maintain product knowledge; act as manager on duty in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others; ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Willing to assist customers in exterior areas as needed.
- Minimum Age: 18;
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience. - Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; 40+ hours per week; ability to work across multiple locations as needed.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems; strong multitasking and organizational skills; cash handling experience.
- Excellent work ethic and business sense; ability to work independently.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit; details provided during the interview process.
