• Perform the full histology workflow: receive, process, embed, cut (microtomy), stain, and mount tissue sections with meticulous attention to quality control.
• Execute routine and specialized stains, troubleshoot staining and processing issues, and verify slide quality before pathologist review.
• Maintain instruments and laboratory supplies, uphold rigorous safety and documentation standards, and ensure accurate data entry in the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
• Collaborate with pathologists and lab teammates, including assisting with intraoperative consultations where appropriate and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
• Support professional growth opportunities such as advanced staining techniques, automation and digital pathology tools, QA leadership roles, and exposure to diverse specimen types across settings.

• Guaranteed weekly pay between 1,725 and 1,780 dollars for a 40‑hour work week, with a start date of 01/15/2026.
