What You'll Do
- Develops lesson plans to address those needs to include individualized training for assignments
- Provides necessary instruction for Adult Basic Education/General Education Development program
- Administers necessary tests
- Evaluate inmates provides necessary direction for inmates
- Maintains discipline and/or security of instructional area
- Attends education meetings, unit staff meetings and in-service training
- Prepares required records and reports
- Maintains inventory and orders supplies and materials needed
- Performs other education and/or related duties as requested by education administrators
- Performs other duties as required on assignment
Applicants who possess a Baccalaureate degree & an Adult Educator four year permit and/or are eligible to receive a four-year permit from the Ohio Department of Education, may be considered.
Any current Teacher Certificate appropriate grade level to be assigned;
Teacher 1, 71721, must also have baccalaureate degree or less.
