Physician Assistant – Cardiac Surgery (Part‑Time)

Adena Health seeks a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team in Chillicothe, OH. The successful candidate will work alongside a single cardiac surgeon, seeing patients in clinic, providing hospital consults, rounding, discharging patients, documenting plan of care, performing procedures, and assisting in the operating room. Experience in surgical assistance and vein harvesting is required.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient coverage for the cardiac surgery service
• See patients in clinic and assist with pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative care
• Assist with surgical procedures, including vein harvesting and OR assistance
• Conduct patient consultations, rounds, discharges, and documentation using Epic EMR
• Develop and maintain plan of care and follow‑up for cardiac surgery patients

• Office hours:
  Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary depending on surgical cases)
• Part‑time position

• Physician Assistant licensure
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
• Experience in surgical assistance and vein harvesting

• $5,000 sign‑on bonus
• $15,000 relocation benefit
• $1,000 per year for CME
• Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualified
