Overview
General Description:
Assist with the repair, maintenance, and modification of injection mold tools and components. Operate manual machining equipment (e.g., mill, lathe, grinder) under supervision. Learn and apply proper tool room safety protocols and machining best practices. Support experienced technicians with daily tasks and gain exposure to complex tool troubleshooting. Document work completed and maintain accurate tooling records. Participate in cross-functional meetings with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
Progressively take on more advanced responsibilities as training is completed.

- Support experienced technicians with daily tasks and gain exposure to complex tool troubleshooting.

- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational school certification in machining or toolmaking preferred.
- Basic understanding of machining principles, tooling terminology, and shop equipment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mentors.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to injection molding tooling.
- Experience with blueprints, schematics, or CAD drawings.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $17.00-$23.08 hourly wage. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
