Position Overview
This position is ideal for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and an interest in starting a career in the dental field. The person will be a support person to all staff members and patients in the office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager.

Responsibilities- Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
- Respond to patient questions and/or concerns
- Answering telephones
- Scheduling appointments
- Maintaining appointment book
- Confirming appointments
- Follow up on no-shows/cancellations of appointments
- Register patients
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Checking voicemail on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
- Experience working in a dental office is required
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
- Experience answering telephones
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
