TPA Accounting Associate

Description and Requirements


*** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 2 DAYS PER WEEK ON SITE IN OUR CHICOPEE LOCATION***

General Description: Provide support to the Underwriting, Finance and Administrative departments.

Responsibilities:

• Scanning, filing and organizing
• Assist Underwriting with the mailing of monthly invoicing for the SIG Groups
• Collating reports, RFPs and presentations
• Data entry
• Meeting deadlines
• Collections
• Daily cash receipts & Bank deposits
• Bank reconciliations
• Inputting policies
• Month-end Finance Reports
• Vendor/W9 Entry in Future Comp WC Claims System

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

:

• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience. Administrative and insurance experience is preferred
• College degree preferred
• Proficient in MS Office suite of products, comfortable in Excel, spreadsheets, formulas.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must have a capacity for analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills required.
