LHH is working with a leading supplier of mission-critical, precision-machined components used in the Aerospace industry who is looking for an Accounting Office Manager to join their team in Chicopee, MA! The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in accounting, have experience in front desk operations/management and be able to work onsite. If this sounds like you, feel free to apply today!

This is a blended role supporting both office operations and core accounting functions. You’ll be a go‑to resource on site, trusted to keep the office running smoothly while supporting accounting processes across AP/AR, reporting, and audits.

  • 50% Accounting
  • 50% Office Administration
Accounting Responsibilities
  • Handle AP/AR, invoicing, cash applications, customer payments
  • Maintain accurate aging reports & ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Review invoices against POs & packing slips; resolve discrepancies
  • Send monthly customer statements & assist with collections
  • Support month‑end close for AR/AP and weekly cash‑flow needs
  • Prepare credit applications & manage access to payment portals
Office Management Responsibilities
  • Manage front office operations, visitors, calls & supplies
  • Coordinate IT vendor visits for phones, copiers, printers
  • Handle insurance/vehicle registrations & driver changes
  • Manage vendor relationships (uniform services, facility cleaning, safety supplies, etc.)
  • Liaise with landlord for onsite property needs
What We’re Looking For

Personality, professionalism, and adaptability are key!

Ideal Experience
  • Exposure to a general office environment
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience (AR/AP, reconciliations, audit support)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working onsite
  • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with ERP/accounting systems a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work cross‑functionally
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
