Pacific Supply is a distributor of building products with over 40 locations throughout the Western United States and has been serving the construction industry since 1953. We are accepting resumes for Class A or B drivers and are also interested in developing drivers from material handlers who want to operate in a safe manner and are looking for career advancement.
Compensation: $18.00 - $28.00 Hourly
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders, loading of trucks, and the receiving of materials.
- Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Expedites the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
- Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
- Ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
- Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.
- Delivers material to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to safety guidelines established.
- Must have valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interest in company-sponsored training.
- Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, valid driver’s license and ability to complete company-sponsored training program while working as a material handler.
