The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented. You must be able to fulfill the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
• Perform duties such as operating cash registers, merchandise recovery, freight processing, merchandising, assembly, janitorial duties, price changes, and assisting with loading purchases.
• Ensure customer safety and satisfaction, including poultry care and safety documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor lots are hard surfaces.
• Shifts typically range from 4 hours to over 8 hours.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds; operate equipment like forklifts and balers (age restrictions apply).
• Stand, kneel, climb, and operate store equipment throughout shifts.
• Handle birds/poultry safely and complete required training and certifications.
