Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all GM areas.

They enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests who need assistance to help solve their specific needs
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
• Process price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed
• Learn operational procedures affecting inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivery/pickup) while adhering to applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Climb ladders and move merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions (e.g., during drive-up, carryout, etc.)
• Must be mobile for scheduled shift duration
