Position: QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST 1 OR 2

Get to Know This Role

The Quality Assurance Analyst 1 or 2 will perform routine testing and analysis of product(s) including but not limited to wort, beer, and raw materials throughout the brewing and packaging process to maintain product quality. This role collaborates internally to report quality findings to brewery team members as appropriate.

NOTE:
Selected candidate may be offered Quality Assurance Analyst 1 or 2 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

This position is 2nd shift - 1:00pm-9:30pm

Quality Assurance Analyst 1 What You Will Do
  • Accurately analyze in‑process and finished products and report any out of specification results/trends to lab supervisor/production staff to initiate corrective action
  • Maintain product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, product specifications, and quality procedures; complete tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Participate in production (brewing & packaging) processes, delivering superior internal customer service; isolate and contain product that does not meet quality standards
  • Responsible for delivering on actions to out of specification test results and quality issue investigation
  • Communicates effectively to brewery stakeholders via production tools such as: pass down, Microsoft Teams, radio, etc.
  • Calibrate, maintain and repair lab and field equipment to ensure the instruments are operational and reliable at all times
  • Escalates urgent issues in a timely manner; knows when to ask for guidance/help
  • Demonstrates technical skills and abilities needed to effectively and fully complete tasks within assigned position
  • Utilizes technical knowledge for problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Utilizes routines, standard work, and established processes
  • Attention to detail and capable of focusing on the task at hand while paying attention to what is happening around them
  • Capable of discerning urgent versus non urgent information; responds accordingly
  • This role is responsible for production and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System as defined in the SQF Code. There will be Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and Food Security Training as required by Local, State, Federal and SNBC policies. All duties will be completed in a manner that is consistent with all aspects of Company Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).

    Employees shall report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
