The Quality Assurance Analyst 1 or 2 will perform routine testing and analysis of product(s), including but not limited to wort, beer, and raw materials throughout the brewing and packaging process to maintain product quality. This role collaborates internally to report quality findings to brewery team members as appropriate.
NOTE: Selected candidate may be offered Quality Assurance Analyst 1 or 2 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
This position is 2nd shift – 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Quality Assurance Analyst 1 What You Will Do- Analyze in‑process and finished products, reporting out‑of‑specification results/trends to the lab supervisor/production staff to initiate corrective action.
- Maintain product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, product specifications, and quality procedures; complete tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in production (brewing & packaging) processes, delivering superior internal customer service; isolate and contain product that does not meet quality standards.
- Deliver on actions to out‑of‑spec test results and investigate quality issues.
- Communicate effectively to brewery stakeholders via production tools such as: pass‑down, Microsoft Teams, radio, etc.
- Calibrate, maintain, and repair lab and field equipment to ensure instruments are operational and reliable at all times.
- Escalate urgent issues in a timely manner and know when to ask for guidance or help.
- Demonstrate technical skills and abilities needed to effectively and fully complete tasks within the assigned position.
- Utilize technical knowledge for problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Utilize routines, standard work, and established processes.
- Show attention to detail and focus on the task at hand while monitoring the wider environment.
- Distinguish urgent versus non‑urgent information and respond accordingly.
- Support production and maintenance of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System as defined in the SQF Code, with required Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Food Security training. All duties align with Company Safety Rules, GMP, and SQF. Report food safety & quality problems to authorized personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or food‑related discipline preferred or any combination of education and/or experience that has conferred comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 1 year experience in a production or lab environment preferred.
- 1 year previous experience in a brewery or manufacturing environment preferred.
- 1 year experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Food/beverage microbiology
- Glass and packaging material quality & integrity testing
- Development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Food/beverage sanitation & chemical hygiene
- Independent work & teamwork
- Gas chromatography
- Workflow optimization
- Root cause analysis or other complex…
