Description
ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking a full‑time Vegetation Management Inspector (VMI) to patrol and prescribe tree work along PG&E utility lines. The role requires strong forestry knowledge, a Class C driver's license, and the ability to work independently in rugged terrain.
Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct circuit patrols to identify required tree work and document inspections.
- Prescribe and coordinate tree pruning and removal to maintain one‑year compliance.
- Notify property owners, obtain necessary authorizations, and act as the client contact for new business.
- Perform work verification inspections and investigate tree‑related outages.
- Support emergency response, coordinate contractor activities, and maintain safety tailboard meetings.
- High school diploma or GED;
High school diploma or GED AND a Class C driver’s license. - One (1) year related arboricultural experience OR ISA Certified Arborist OR 2- or 4‑year college degree in a related field.
- Board Certified Master Arborist or approval by PG&E representative.
- Proficiency in electronic devices, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in inclement weather.
- Driving vehicles, forklifts, and forestry tools.
- Hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, gas, fumes, and chemicals.
