We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support an outpatient surgery department within a Level II Trauma Center. This role primarily focuses on same-day outpatient procedures, with the flexibility to float to the main OR as needed. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, adaptable, and experienced in fast-paced perioperative environments.

• Provide perioperative nursing care for outpatient surgical procedures.
• Function as Circulating and/or Scrub RN as assigned.
• Prepare operating rooms, ensure sterility, and assist surgical teams during procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and clinical status throughout the perioperative process.
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC EMR system.
• Float to the main Operating Room when operational needs require.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• 8-hour day shifts with varied start times
• Some weekend coverage may be required
• Holiday coverage required

• Active California RN license (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.
• Prior successful completion of travel assignments.
• Experience in outpatient and/or same-day surgery settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing case volumes and unit needs.

• BLS/CPR (required)
• ACLS (preferred)
• PALS (preferred)

• EPIC EMR (experience required)

• Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-safety focus required.
