Compensation Range: $32.99 - $42.24 per hour. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Shift: Days, 8 hours. Days off:
Fixed (Saturday & Sunday). Hours per pay period: 80.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides nursing care to clinic patients under the supervision of the Transitional Care Supervisor. The L.V.N. contributes their service to the physical and emotional care and education of the patient and family in accordance with the philosophy and standards of the clinic health centers.

Desired

• Six months nursing experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting OR one-year nursing experience in a non-acute care setting.

Minimum

• Current licensure with the California Board of Vocational Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current IV/Blood withdrawal Certification for State of California.

• ACLS Certification.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Furthers education and clinical skills by attending classes and workshops.
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
