CERTIFICATION & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
• Current California RN License (Necessary to practice in California)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
Certified
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

WHAT YOU BRING
• A minimum of 5 years of recent, acute critical care experience in a Level II trauma ICU or similar setting
• Proven expertise in neuro/trauma patient care, including managing ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to quickly adapt and float to other units such as Cardiovascular or Telemetry Care, ICU/CCU, or Med/Surg units as needed
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient safety, critical thinking, and effective communication
JOB DESCRIPTION
Join Enloe Medical Center's Level II trauma NT/SICU unit, a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a 12-bed capacity and a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. This specialized unit focuses on neuro- and trauma-critical patients, requiring advanced skills in monitoring and managing patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. Flexibility to float across various units—including Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, and Medical-Surgical—is essential to ensure optimal patient care.
The ideal candidate will have extensive critical care experience, demonstrating proficiency in complex neuro-trauma cases and familiarity with EPIC charting.
