Salary ranges (Full-Time Equivalent):
Lecturer A/2: $5,507 – $6,677 per month;
Lecturer B/3: $6,221 – $13,224 per month;
Lecturer C/4: $6,825 – $14,523 per month;
Lecturer D/5: $8,593 – $15,211 per month. Anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range and most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank. See the Faculty Salaries At-a-Glance guide for more information.

The Department of Ethnic, Gender & Queer Studies is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.
Minimum QualificationsThe minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a Master’s degree in a field related to Ethnic, Women and Gender, Queer Studies, or other related fields.
Preferred QualificationsBilingual candidates will be given preference. University teaching experience.
ResponsibilitiesLecturer positions carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching. Teaching assignments are based on qualifications and department needs.
