What You’ll DoAs a Physician Assistant in our practice, you’ll play a vital role in both
direct patient care and in-office procedures
, working closely with our ophthalmologists and clinical staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and manage patients in clinic, including history, exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Perform ophthalmic procedures consistent with training and scope of practice
- Assist physicians with in-office and surgical procedures as needed
- Provide patient education, counseling, and follow-up care
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Contribute to a culture of quality, efficiency, and compassionate care
- Procedural, hands-on work

- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with an active California state license (or eligibility)
- Interest in ophthalmology; prior ophthalmology experience is a plus but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and procedural aptitude
