Salary: $100,000 - $145,000 per year

Since 1946, our company has successfully completed over 4,000 projects and counting across California, Nevada, Oregon, and Montana. Although the vast majority of our work is focused in Northern California, work in these neighboring states is the direct result of satisfied clients who have requested our services once again on subsequent projects. Our ownership group is all active and "hands‑on", engaged in our projects on a daily basis and we also employ over 40 of our own carpenters, concrete finishers, and laborers.

This allows us to excel in a wide array of projects ranging from 1,000-foot tenant improvement and remodel projects to large-scale ground-up projects alike.

• 100-145k Base Salary

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the full project schedule, updating look‑ahead and recovery plans.
• Direct day‑to‑day field activities: manpower, equipment, material deliveries, and site logistics.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, verify compliance with drawings/specifications, and drive quality control.
• Lead daily safety huddles, enforce company and OSHA safety requirements, and conduct jobsite inspections.
• Manage project documentation: RFIs, field reports, photos, and daily logs using Microsoft Office and Procore/Plan Grid.
• Coordinate with agencies and inspectors for testing, special inspections, and required reporting.
• Mentor project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents; foster a collaborative, high‑performance team.
• Track quantities, productivity, and cost codes; forecast labor and equipment needs.
• Resolve site challenges quickly (weather impacts, unforeseen conditions, emergencies) to keep the schedule intact.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as the lead/primary Superintendent supervising project teams
• Extensive experience with large-scale commercial projects (ground-up and structural project experience in the $25+ MIL range strongly preferred)
• Expert in reading plans, specs, and subcontracts; strong knowledge of means and methods.
• Advanced scheduling skills—able to build, update, and recover schedules in Primavera P6.
