PURPOSE
- Deliver excellent service to customers and their vehicle needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of previous experience in the same or similar field
- Valid driver’s license
- Have and maintain a clean driving record. Release of such information will be required for employment consideration.

TASKS
- Move customer vehicles from drop-off to service.
- Run errands for the dealership as directed.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
- Employ good judgment and safe driving skills, abiding by all traffic regulations.
- Operate radio or similar device to communicate with the dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service according to traffic regulations.
- Transport vehicles from service to parking lot.
- Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs. Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surface.
- Vacuum the interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
- Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
- Clean the engine and engine compartment with various cleaning agents.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
- Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Fill vehicles with fuel.
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
- Keep the work area neat and clean.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Report any safety issues immediately to management.
- Communicate effectively.
- Be independently motivated with the ability to work within a team environment.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service/satisfaction skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
