Role DescriptionThe Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for a Museum Assistant.
Description of Duties9 hours a week; plan and assist with tours and other public programming;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite/Canva/Instagram. Assist in the design flyers for events.
Must be a student interested in museums and have taken some Museum Studies or Cultural ANTH classes. Must have some availability during the Museum's hours of operation 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday, and the first Saturday of the month.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

All work must be performed within the State of California.
Compliance training completion (approx. 4 hours of work time) is required of this position within the first 30 days of work.
