In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth and efficient site operations by aligning production planning and material availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will have full ownership of planning decisions, working closely with key stakeholders to support operational excellence and business performance.
This is a hands‑on, site‑based role offering autonomy, complexity, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on daily operations.
What you’ll doIn this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end production planning and material planning, with a stronger focus on production planning, ensuring continuity of operations and optimal inventory levels.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the monthly production plan, considering plant constraints, capacity, and operational complexity
- Plan and monitor material requirements to ensure availability for production while avoiding excess stock
- Work closely with Production to align priorities, manage changes, and respond to disruptions
- Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Commercial teams to ensure smooth material flow and planning alignment
- Take full ownership of planning decisions, acting proactively to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
- Monitor and manage key KPIs, including working capital and stock levels
- Analyse data and forecasts to support planning decisions and continuous improvement
- Use ERP and planning systems to maintain accurate data and effective planning processes.
- Experience in production planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of material planning and supply chain processes.
- Experience working closely with Production, Customer Service, and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Confident in analysing data and translating insights into planning actions.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems (Infor M3 / Promptech experience is an advantage but not mandatory)
- Excel skills at a medium level (filters, formulas, basic data analysis) are required
- Experience in food or feed manufacturing is an advantage but not essential
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Structured, detail‑oriented, and proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain oversight

Employment type: Full‑time
