Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Senior to join a professional services firm in Chichester. The role requires expertise in accounting and finance to manage various client portfolios effectively. The company operates as a medium-sized organisation, offering specialised services in accounting and finance to a wide range of clients.
Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients in line with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and oversee client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support clients with tax planning and advice on financial matters.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Provide support during audits and liaise with auditors when necessary.
- Ensure deadlines are met and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
- Keep updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Professional accounting qualifications or part-qualified status (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting and tax practices.
- Experience handling client portfolios within the professional services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
- Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £48,000 annually.
